What we collect
Three categories of data, plus what we never collect.

- Email — only if you sign up for the newsletter. We do not pass this to sponsors. You can unsubscribe in one click from any email we send.
- Server logs — kept for 30 days for abuse prevention and aggregate traffic analysis.
We do not collect: Aadhaar, PAN, payment-card details or government-issued identifiers. We do not run fingerprinting scripts or third-party advertising trackers inside editorial pages.
Your rights
Three rights you can exercise on request.
- Access — email the desk for a copy of any data we hold on you.
- Deletion — same email; we purge newsletter and account data within 7 days of verification.
- Portability — request a JSON export of your subscription data.
